How to PreShow Feature
This feature is accessible when you publish your event (either public or private). Upon publishing, you will have access to this feature, located in your left-hand menu upon entering your event. The intended purpose of this feature is to show pre-event content. This feature will go off of your event start time and start date only. This feature may not be enabled per event day.
Step 1: Enter your event and select the ‘PreShow’ tab in the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Now, you are on the PreShow page. Enable the Feature.
Step 3: Decide if you want to enable the timer. The timer will countdown to your event's scheduled day and time on the event calendar.
Step 4: Create a welcome message. This can be welcome or important event information before the event begins.
Step 6: Choose to upload a still image, a video or embed a video as your PreShow content.
- Image: The PreShow, even if disabled, will default your main events thumbnail onto your media before your event begins. If you would like to change it to something else, you can change your Pre-Show image here:
- Video: You can upload a video file to play or continuously loop if you select the ‘Loop Preshow Video’ option. You can also decide if you want the video progress bar to show.
- The ‘Embed Type’ option will allow you to paste in a YouTube or Vimeo embed code to present your PreShow content.
Step 7: Once decided on the PreShow content you want, save your PreShow.
Step 8: To verify your pre-show content, click on the Watch Page in your left hand menu to enter your attendee media view. A new tab will open with your watch page. Return to make edits as needed.
