How to Go Live / Collecting Stream Key & URL
Step 1: Begin by accessing your event through your Account Hub. After selecting your event, select the Event Media tab located on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 2: Select + New Stream Or UpLoad.
Step 3: Choose your Media Type as, Live Stream.
Step 4: You are able to upload a Video Title and Thumbnail image for attendees to see before your live stream begins.
Step 5: It is optional to allow your live stream to be replayed. If you would like to leave your live stream available for replay, leave the box unchecked.
STEP 6: Choose which viewing option experience you would like to provide to your attendees. We do recommend the non-panoramic view and it is placed as the default option.
STEP 7: Select your live stream date and time.
STEP 8: Select all the boxes that you wish to make available to your attendees during the event.
STEP 9: Lastly, you will have the option to add an event description and/or playlist for your attendees to view in addition to your live stream.
STEP 10: Your live stream thumbnail will appear under the Media Playlist. Select the three dots shown to the right of the media and select Stream Key & URL.
STEP 11: Copy and paste the Stream Key & URL to your platform of choice to connect your live stream.
**We highly recommend recording your live stream locally in addition to the ViewStub platform.
