ViewStub has their own dedicated QR scanner. This scanner is included on all accounts and easily accessible without an account being need. This means that your door attendants may use any camera enabled device to scan in your attendees using one of the two methods:
1) The browser Scanner. Google Chrome is recommended for all users: ViewStub.com/Scan
2) The App Scanner: Access the app and click to Login as an organizer, at the bottom of the organizer portal it will have a hyperlink to enter the scanner.
Regardless of the method you choose, the process is as follows:
Step 1: Access the attendee tab on your left hand event menu.
Step 2: You will now be on the attendee Dashboard and defaulted onto the In-person tab. On this page, find the generate password button for the QR scanner.
Step 3: Click to generate your new Scanner password. This password varies per event.
Step 4: Once you have written down or copied your scanner password, you may share this with any staff member scanning people in at the door. They may enter using the browser or the app. The Password will be required on both. (Hold Down to scan on the App).
Step 5: You are now in the scanner and can change access points by sliding the admission type at the bottom.
Step 6: When scanning in an attendee, you can expect any one of these windows to appear displaying their checked-In status. These instructions can also be found on ViewStub.com/scan.
Step 7: To view attendees successfully checkin/out, return to your attendee dashboard. This is also good to have at a help desk at your event for manual check-in.
End of Tutorial.
